The former magician’s assistant was lost for words when he confessed how far he would go to keep her in the competition.
Host Gethin Jones asked: “Ore [Oduba] was on the show on Monday saying that Debbie is a frontrunner to win the Glitterball Trophy.
“How are you going to make sure that she stays in the competition?”
“I might have to kill the other ones,” Giovanni coolly remarked with a sly smile.
Debbie appeared shocked by his confession before laughing: “Oh… how very Sicilian.”
It came after the 59-year-old searched for a new professional partner when Giovanni claimed her Samba rolls were not up to scratch.
“I struggle with the hip wiggles,” Debbie explained.
“But she is getting there,” the 27-year-old reassured fearful fans. “We still have 24 hours, so it’s all good.”
Paul Daniels’ widow went on to add: “I am really starting to enjoy the Samba roll not I’m feeling the movement of it.”
“It isn’t looking that great, like she said, but you know…” Giovanni cheekily added.
Stunned, Debbie then called out for a replacement, asking: “Is there anyone else here who can dance?”
Debbie and Giovanni are performing the Samba on Saturday night to a Spice Girls medley as they head to Blacktop for week 10 of the competition.
